Oldtimer Studio is Romania's first and most important professional classical car restoration company. It was established in spring 2002, and the fully equipped workshop was finished that autumn.

The first restorations were the founders' own cars, which went on to compete in major classical-car events. Those events brought awards and the first restoration commissions from other owners.
Founder: Ovidiu Ionescu. An engineer by training, Ovidiu Ionescu founded Oldtimer Studio in 2002 as Romania's first workshop dedicated to restoring historic vehicles. He was president of Retromobil Club România from 2005 to 2007 and still serves on the club's Culture Commission.
Oldtimer Studio is endorsed by The National Association of Collectors and Retromobil Club România, of which it is a member workshop.
